From traditional skills to new media
Ace Designs is a small Graphic Design practice in Dover, Kent. With over 25 years of experience we can offer a range of traditional and digital solutions to your design needs, from illustrations in watercolour (and many other media) to digital photography. Our Apple Macintosh equipped studio has in house scanning and proofing facilities, allowing us to take your work from concept to completion. Copywriting and research, photo retouching, print buying, advertising and web design are all handled by our studio.
Historic and environmental interpretation are a speciality, and travel industry and hospitality clients are important to our business. From DL leaflets to 48 page brochures, and from business cards to full corporate image creation, Ace Designs is pleased to build a relaxed and open relationship with our clients. Printing is purchased for our clients at competitive prices, using local companies wherever possible. Our long-term relationships with our suppliers ensures a smooth work flow and excellent quality.
Photography may be booked as a stand-alone service for special events, performances, wedding photography or portraits. However, many clients book their photography with us as part of a wider design brief.
Although computers and the web have transformed design, at Ace Designs we still like to get our hands dirty! Murals, gilding, and fine art commissions for landscapes, portrait paintings and sculptures, both for corporate and personal clients are a delightful balance to new media projects. Pictorial signs with signwriting such as pub signs and A-boards can be hand painted or airbrushed with gold leaf, according to your requirements.
Theatre scenery is an occasional passion.
